Description
Mellerstain, located between Kelso and Gordon, is one of Scotland’s great Georgian houses was begun in 1725 by Scottish architect William Adam and completed in 1778 by his more famous son, Robert. The result is an outstanding example of 18th-century Scottish architecture, and some say one of Robert Adam’s finest works.
Grounds and Garden:
Open all week, all year round 11am – 5pm.
Mellerstain House:
From 7th April until 30th September 2023 (Friday, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays)
Guided tours at 12pm and 2pm.
